Community

Like its teachers Green Tree’s diverse families are a committed bunch. Many children and families get to know each other well during the progression from infant to pre-K. The resulting friendships and community create a center with a comfortable “family” atmosphere. A strong parent-volunteer program (click here for more information on the volunteer program), including a parent volunteer board (click here for more information on the centers administration), fosters this sense of community. In turn the center provides parent educational resources and workshops that nurture the whole family.
