Catherine (Cathy) Prygrocki Executive Director

Cathy has been in the field of early childhood education for
over 20 years.
Cathy
has been at Green Tree since 2006.
She was born and educated in Canada.
Cathy has two sons, one daughter, and a grandson.
She enjoys reading, watching movies, entertaining, and
being with her children and grandson. |
Kathleen McLees Program Supervisor/ Assistant Director

Kathleen has a bachelor degree in Sociology and a Master
of Education specializing in Early Childhood.
She has been in early childhood since 1992 and has been
at Green Tree since 2006.
Kathleen was born and raised in Helena, Montana.
She has two sons and four grandchildren.
She enjoys skiing (both downhill and cross-country),
hiking, walking, concerts, plays, and reading.

Lead Teacher |
Rachel
has a bachelor degree in Linquistics from the University
of Benin and 35 credits in early childhood education
from North Seattle Community College.
Rachel has been working at Green Tree since 2005.
She was born and grew up in Ivory Coast, Africa.
Rachel became a citizen of the United States on
May 24, 2010. She
has a daughter who attends Green Tree.
She likes reading books and watching sports such
as basketball, soccer, and football.

Megan received her CDA credential in 2009.
Megan started out volunteering at Green Tree in
1998 and was officially hired in 2003.
Megan was born in Syracuse, New York where she
goes back often to visit her family.
Megan has two children, a son who attends Green
Tree, and a daughter who attended Green Tree and is now
in elementary school.
She enjoys spending time with her children by
going on outings with them and participating in things
they are interested in.
She also loves watching movies, listening to
music, and just living life.
She would love to travel one day all around the
world! |
 Marinyl Cruza Teacher |
Marinyl has taken one
semester of classes at Renton Technical College working
towards her CDA credential.
She has worked in the early childhood field since
2007 and at Green Tree since 2008. Marinyl was born in
the Philippines and lived there until she moved to
Seattle in 1999.
She is married and has one daughter.
Her mother is the lead teacher in the young
toddler room.
Marinyl enjoys taking care of the children and
helping them in their development.

 Asmeret Habtemariam Support Teacher |
Asmeret received her CDA credential in 2009.
She began working in early childhood in 1999.
She was first hired on with Green Tree in 2003,
took a maternity leave, and returned in 2006.
Asmeret was born in Eritrea, Africa and came to
the United States with her family in 1988.
She has two sons, one attends Green Tree and the
older one attended Green Tree and is now is elementary
school.
Asmeret enjoys spending time with her parents and
family for get-togethers and celebrations.
She also keeps busy attending her sons’ many
sports activities.
She loves music and the babies soon learn to
dance in the infant room with Asmeret as their
teacher!!! |

Lyndia Cruza
Lead Teacher |
Lyndia
has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from
the Philippines and taught there for 7 years before coming to
the United States. She
has two quarters of CDA classes.
Lyndia has been in the early childhood field since 1993
and has worked at Green Tree since 1999.
She comes from the island of Visaya in the Philippines
which she describes as being very beautiful.
Lyndia has two daughters and several grandchildren.
She enjoys visiting local places by the water, cooking,
reading, and spending time with her parents and her
grandchildren.

Victoria (Vicky) Villar
Teacher |
Vicky has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education
from the Philippines and taught elementary school for 16
years. She has been in
early childhood education since 2003 and has been with Green
Tree since 2005. Vicky
was born in Alcala, Philippines.
She is married and has three children who live with
their families in Madrid, Spain.
She likes to read, cook food from the Philippines, sew,
and crochet. She plans
to continue taking classes pertaining to her job.

Older Toddler Teachers

Kimberly (Kim) Krikorian
Lead Teacher |
Kim
has an AAS in Human Services, an AAS in Early Childhood
Education, and has a BA in Sociology.
Kim has been in early childhood education since 1995
and has worked at Green Tree since 2007.
Kim was born and raised in Utah and lived in Montana
for 10 years. Kim and
her husband are hoping to adopt their first child by the end
of 2010. Kim has a
strong appreciation for art and music and has a background in
theatre and music having done quite a few musicals with
community theatre over the years.
She enjoys taking in a show whenever possible.

Kevin Hueber Teacher |
Kevin
received a degree in History Government Education.
He has been in the early childhood field since 2006 and
joined the Green Tree staff in September 2011. Kevin was born
and raised in Pittsburg, Kansas where his family still lives.
He enjoys running and hiking.

Ericka Penaloza Support Teacher |
Ericka is
working on a degree in Elementary Education and has been in
the early childhood field since 2005.
She joined the Green Tree staff in August 2011.
Ericka was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and speaks fluent
Spanish. Ericka’s
parents live in South Dakota and she has a brother, sister,
and five nieces.
Her interests are traveling, cooking, learning languages,
studying about education, educating children and teaching them
Spanish, and hanging out with her family.

 Stacey Johnson Co-Lead Teacher |
Stacey has a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education.
She has worked in early childhood since 1997 and has
been at Green Tree since 2008.
Stacey grew up in Kent, Washington.
She is married and enjoys Mariner games, going to the
movies, and scrap-booking.

Devoria Sanger Co-Lead Teacher |
Devoria has a degree in Human Development
and Family Studiese and has been in the early childhood field
since 1990.
She joined the Green Tree staff in
April 2011.
Devoria was born in Philadelphia,
has been married 27 years, has two adult children, and one
“adult” dog.
Her hobbies are bargain hunting,
going to movies and theatre plays, and traveling.

Holly Koehler Lead Teacher |
Holly has an associate
degree in Early Childhood Education.
Holly has been in early childhood
since 2000 and has worked at Green Tree since 2006.
Holly is the third eldest in a
family of eight children and grew up in Edmonds, Washington.
Holly enjoys sewing, textile art
and sculpture, quilting, Jane Austen, reading, words, warm
places, and sugar (except horehound candy!)

Amber Williams Teacher

Amber has
seven years of Stars training and plans to continue working on
her CDA in the future.
She has been at Green Tree since
2004.
Amber grew up in Alaska and has
four sisters.
She enjoys bike riding.

Jennrfer (J) Langford Patterson Support Teacher in all
rooms |
J is working on an associate degree in
Human Services and has been working in the early childhood
field since 1995.
She has been at Green Tree since
May 2011.
J was born in Cincinatti, Ohio and
is adopted.
Her family resides in different
parts of New Jersey.
J’s hobbies include cooking,
dancing, singing, and watching comedies.

Adam
has been in the field of food preparation since 2000.
Before coming to Green Tree in 2006, he worked in an
Italian Bakery. Adam
was raised in Texas. He
enjoys oil painting.
